Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge and accelerates scientific progress.

Published as an Open Access platform, all articles are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/]. This license allows users to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles. It also permits adaptation, transformation, or commercial use of the content, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source. For full license details, please visit: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0.

By adopting an Open Access model, the journal ensures maximum dissemination and visibility of published research without barriers, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing worldwide.

Article Processing Charges (Author Fees)

To sustain this Open Access publishing model and maintain high editorial standards, the journal charges an Article Publication Fee.

  • Article Submission Fee: IDR 0.00 (no fee for submitting manuscripts)
  • Article Publication Fee: IDR 1,200,000.00

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication are required to pay the Article Publication Fee to cover editorial and production costs. However, waivers or discounts may be granted in cases of financial hardship, to ensure that fees do not prevent the publication of quality research.

Advertising Policy

JAMP does not accept or publish advertisements at this time.

Consent for Publication

Written informed consent is required for all personal data or images included in manuscripts. Consent must allow public access under the Creative Commons license. In case of deceased individuals, consent must be obtained from next of kin. All consent documentation must be available upon request and handled confidentially, in accordance with COPE Guidelines.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts are treated as confidential and are only shared with parties involved in the editorial process. In suspected misconduct, disclosures may be made to ethics committees or institutions following COPE flowcharts.

Copyright Policy

Who Can Submit?

Submissions are accepted from authors who own the copyright or are authorized to submit the work. Authors retain copyright before publication unless transferred to an employer.

User Rights

JAMP operates under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Users can freely access and distribute content as long as the terms are met.

Author Rights

Authors agree to assign copyright and publication rights to JAMP upon acceptance.

Desk Rejection Policy

Submissions may be desk rejected for reasons including:

  • Out-of-scope topics
  • Ethical violations or plagiarism (>30%)
  • Lack of novelty
  • Flawed methodology or unclear objectives
  • Incomplete or poorly structured manuscripts
  • Substandard language quality
  • Non-compliance with submission guidelines

Funding

Authors must disclose funding sources and sponsor roles. If none, this should be explicitly stated.

Images and Figures

Only include visuals that add value. Permission is required for third-party content. Editors may request supporting documentation.

Research Misconduct

JAMP enforces COPE-compliant policies to address:

  • Affiliation misrepresentation
  • Unauthorized material use
  • Citation manipulation
  • Duplicate submissions
  • Data/image falsification
  • Peer review tampering
  • Plagiarism/self-plagiarism
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest
  • Unethical research practices

Duplicate Submission / Publication

Submissions must not be under review elsewhere. Translations require permission and transparency. Prior publications must be cited and differences clearly stated.

Redundant Publication

Splitting one study into multiple papers without significant distinction is considered redundant and will be sanctioned.

Citation Manipulation

Unjustified excessive citations of particular authors or journals to inflate metrics will be penalized.

Data Fabrication and Falsification

Any falsified results or manipulated figures will be grounds for manuscript rejection and possible retraction.

Author Contributions

All authors must contribute meaningfully to the research. Contributions from assistants or students must be acknowledged.

Image Manipulation

Images must represent original data accurately. Any adjustments or composites must be clearly noted in captions. Failure to provide original images on request may lead to rejection.

Preprints Policy

Authors are permitted to post preprints anytime. Once published in JAMP, a link to the final version should be included.
