PENDIDIKAN KAUM PROLETAR INGGRIS PADA MASA REVOLUSI INDUSTRI

Artikel ini secara khusus menyoroti kondisi pendidikan kaum proletar Inggris pada masa Revolusi Industri. Peristiwa terjadinya Revolusi memiliki dampak luar biasa bagi Eropa maupun dunia, yang secara tidak langsung pendidikan juga memiliki fungsinya sendiri dalam mendorong terjadinya Revolusi. Kelas bawah atau kaum proletar Inggris yang kehidupannya jarang tersorot, menunjukkan pengabaian umum terhadap sejarah pendidikan kelas bawah dan kesempatan untuk mengembangkannya secara lebih luas. Perkembangan sejarah sekolah yang diuraikan oleh William dalam Reportnya tahun 1961, dan tulisan-tulisan Hadow 1926 diuraikan sebagai contoh karakteristik pendidikan kelas bawah, dengan lasting implication yang membantu menjelaskan konflik berkelanjutan atas pendidikan kelas bawah di awal ke-18. Artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan penjabaran fakta dan data hasil penelitian di lapangan.References
