Digitalisasi perpustakaan sebagai pusat pembelajaran: Meningkatkan efektivitas akses informasi bagi peserta didik dan tenaga pendidik di MAN 4 Sleman

Abstrak
Kegiatan workshop dan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan kesadaran tentang peran perpustakaan dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran (2) meningkatkan literasi informasi bagi tenaga kependidikan, guru dan peserta didik (3) meningkatkan pemahaman teknologi informasi open source dan applikasi untuk perpustakaan digital (4) meningkatkan pemahaman dan pendalaman sistem Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) dan praktik penggunaan software aplikasi perpustakakan digital. Metode yang dipilih dalam pelaksanaan ini merupakan pelatihan yang holistik dan dilaksanakan secara luring oleh seluruh peserta dengan penyampaian materi pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa (1) kesadaran tentang peran perpustakaan dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil pre-test pada kategori rendah (2,46), meningkat pada hasil post-test menjadi kategori tinggi (3,51). (2) literasi informasi bagi tenaga kependidikan, guru, dan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil pre-test pada kategori rendah (2,43), meningkat pada hasil post-test menjadi kategori tinggi (3,63). (3) pemahaman mengenai teknologi informasi open source dan aplikasi untuk perpustakaan digital mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil pre-test pada kategori rendah (1,91), meningkat pada hasil post-test menjadi kategori sedang (3,43). (4) pemahaman mengenai cara kerja sistem klasifikasi Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil pre-test yang awalnya berada pada kategori rendah (2,09), meningkat pada hasil post-test menjadi kategori tinggi (3,51). (5) praktik penggunaan software aplikasi perpustakaan digital (misal SLiMS) mengalami peningkatan, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil pre-test yang awalnya berada pada kategori rendah (2,40), meningkat pada hasil post-test menjadi kategori sedang (3,43).
The workshop and training activities aim to (1) raise awareness of the role of libraries in improving the quality of learning (2) improve information literacy for educators, teachers, and students (3) improve understanding of open source information technology and applications for digital libraries (4) improve understanding and deepen knowledge of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system and the practical use of digital library application software. The method chosen for this program is holistic training, conducted offline by all participants, with training material delivered through lectures, question and answer sessions, and simulations. The training results show that (1) awareness of the role of libraries in improving the quality of learning has increased, as indicated by the pre-test results in the low category (2.46), which increased in the post-test results to the high category (3.51). (2) Information literacy among educational staff, teachers, and students has improved, as indicated by the pre-test results in the low category (2.43), which increased in the post-test results to the high category (3.63). (3) Understanding of open source information technology and applications for digital libraries has increased, as shown by the pre-test results in the low category (1.91), which increased in the post-test results to the medium category (3.43). (4) Understanding of how the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system works has increased, as shown by the pre-test results, which were initially in the low category (2.09), increasing in the post-test results to the high category (3.51). (5) The practice of using digital library application software (e.g., SLiMS) improved, as shown by the pre-test results, which were initially in the low category (2.40), increasing in the post-test results to the medium category (3.43).
