Abstract

Validity and reliability of a vertical jump test with a smash in volleyball players

Abstract

This research aims to find the validity and reliability of vertical jump tests with a smash in volleyball players. The research used research and development methode. data collection using Delphi techniques with five experts as well as test-retests. Data analyze of content validity used Aiken V formula, empiric validity used Pearson Product Moment, and Reability used Cronbach's Alpha. The results found that the vertical jump test with the smash on volleyball players showed high content validity, and reliability scores were also high. So it can be concluded that the vertical jump test with the smash on volleyball players can be used to measure the leg power of a volleyball player.
