Peningkatan Partisipasi Belajar dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Teknik Audio Video di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 dengan WhatsApp Group

Abstract


Penutupan SMK merupakan dampak dari adanya pandemi COVID-19. Pembelajaran daring menjadi pendekatan yang harus diterapkan pada kondisi tersebut. Berbagai tantangan dan kendala pembelajaran daring mempengaruhi capaian pembelajaran. Temuan saat evaluasi pembelajaran daring di awal periode adalah menurunnya partisipasi belajar dan prosentase ketuntasan KKM peserta didik menjadi temuan yang diperoleh. Artikel ini memaparkan mengenai cara meningkatkan partisipasi dan prosentase ketuntasan tersebut pada pembelajaran daring melalui pemanfaatan WhatsApp Group (WAG) dan Google Classroom (GC). Tahapan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Group Investigation menjadi model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan GI dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar melalui optimalisasi WAG sebagai forum diskusi (langkah identifikasi topik, perencanaan tugas, dan investigasi) dan pengumpulan video (laporan dan presentasi) pada waktu yang disepakati; (2) penerapan GI meningkatkan prosentase peserta didik yang tuntas KKM melalui langkah langkah diskusi, investigasi dan presentasi menggunakan WAG sebagai media komunikasi. Dedikasi dan peran proaktif pengajar memegang peranan penting dalam pengoptimalan WA pada pembelajaran. Teknologi pembelajaran terbaik adalah yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran berdasarkan karakteristik peserta didik, infrastruktur teknologi dan lingkungan pembelajaran. Manajemen perubahan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi pembelajaran bagi sivitas pendidikan.
