Journal Economia (JECO) aims to publish original research to contribute theoretically and practically to the fields of Economics, Accounting, Management, Business, Entrepreneurship, and Finance. JECO is committed to providing perspectives from developing countries such as Indonesia and other developing countries. JECO aspires to elevate these viewpoints to appeal to a wide readership, which adds to the understanding, discussion of business professionals and academics around the world.

JECO challenges potential authors to produce high quality research, grounded in theory and with high methodological rigor. Demonstration of effective conceptual contributions will be considered in the journal's editorial process. To be published in JECO, authors must adhere to high research standards and contribute to theory and/or practice in related fields, regardless of whether the level of analysis is an individual, organization, region, or country.

Jurnal Economia (JECO) is published by Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.

Starting 2024, JECO is issued three times a year, i.e. February, June, and October.

JECO has been ACCREDITED at rank 2rd (Sinta 2) Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia according to the Decree (SK) No. 204/E/KPT/2022. It is valid from Vol. 17 No. 2 (2021) until Vol. 22 No. 1 (2026) based on this certificate below:
