Abstract

The noncompetitive quality
of the Indonesian human resources
is one proof
of the educational world's failure to reach national
educational goals. Therefore, there needs to be a
revolutionary
movement in the educational process of the nation's younger
generation because the process
ofeducation continues to change and
develop, suggesting various unpredictable future trends.
The process
of child education needs to be reordered, especially
that for early child growth. Building
up the spirit in anything by
implanting· work ethos and optimizing creativity development at
home and at school are
of utmost importance because both work
ethos and creativity are social assets that children need to develop
their various life skills.
Life skills are broader in sense than skills for work because they
are at the other end
of the continuum starting with the knowledge
and capability one needs
to function independently in life. By
possessing the life skills one will confidently face life and its
problems without
any feeling of extreme pressure, proactively and
creatively find solutions
to various problems in life, and become
more successful in life
