Pendampingan Pokdarwis Batuah Masyarakat Nyaru Menteng Dalam Pengembangan Ekowisata Hutan Kota Berkah, Palangka Raya

Abstract

The problem found in the field after the PKM team carried out initial observations and FGD (Forum Group Discussion) activities was the lack of knowledge and skills in the use of ecotourism-based business opportunities to prepare for the development of urban forests as green economy tourist attractions. Based on the identification of these problems, it is necessary to carry out training activities in making ecotourism-based proposals and business strategies. The method used in the implementation of this activity uses two methods, namely direct practice through training, guidance, preparation of proposals and business strategies and indirect methods socialized through social media tiktok and youtube. Training techniques are carried out in a variety of ways through lectures, questions and answers, and demonstrations. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation.   As a result of the implementation of this activity, participants gained new insights and experiences about innovative and educational business development that is very useful for the existence of Pokdarwis Batuah in their efforts to support the development of ecotourism in the blessed city of Palangka Raya.
