The Influence of Achievement Motivation and Achievement of Creative Entrepreneurship Project on Entrepreneurial Interest of Vocational High School Students

This research is important due to the low entrepreneurial interest among vocational school students, particularly in the Metal Fabrication and Manufacturing Department, despite the introduction of the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship (PKdK) course aimed at equipping them with entrepreneurial skills. The lack of achievement motivation and low learning performance in the PKdK course are suspected to be the main factors influencing the students' low entrepreneurial interest. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the extent to which achievement motivation and learning performance in the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship course affect students' entrepreneurial interest. This study uses a quantitative method with an ex-post facto design. The subjects of this study were 69 students from the XII grade of the Metal Fabrication and Manufacturing Department. The data collection technique involved questionnaires and documentation. The instruments were validated through expert validation and construct validation. Instrument reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis, correlation tests, and regression tests. The results showed that: (1) there is a positive influence of achievement motivation on students' entrepreneurial interest, with a coefficient of determination ( r2) of 26.1%; (2) there is a positive influence of learning performance in the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship course on students' entrepreneurial interest, with a coefficient of determination ( r2) of 24.7%; (3) there is a positive simultaneous influence of achievement motivation and learning performance in the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship course on students' entrepreneurial interest, with a coefficient of determination (r2) of 33.1%.
