Abstract

This research developed a learning video for flat grinding practice for Class XII vocational school students. Learning videos are an effective medium in supporting the learning process, especially in mechanical engineering subjects. However, the use of instructional videos in flat grinding practice is still minimal. Therefore, this research aims to develop and test the feasibility of a practical learning video for flat grinding. The method used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The suitability of the video was assessed by two material experts and one media expert using a questionnaire instrument. The research results show that this learning video is very suitable for use with a high average score. This video can be used as an effective learning medium in improving students' understanding and skills in flat grinding practice.
