Abstract


Rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains siswa disebabkan karena belum tersedianya buku kimia yang membantu siswa untuk mengintegrasikan pengetahuan yang didapat dengan perkembangan sains dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku kimia berbasis literasi sains pada materi sistem koloid. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analyzing, Designing, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data yang didapat selama penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah buku kimia yang disajikan sesuai dengan indikator literasi sains yang kemudian divalidasi dan ditanggapi berdasarkan aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, dan kebahasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa buku kimia berbasis literasi sains yang telah dikembangkan mendapat tanggapan sangat baik dengan persentase tanggapan siswa sebesar 84,90%.

 

The development of chemistry’s textbook based on literacy science in the concept of colloid system 

Abstract

The quantity of student science literacy skills were still in below of the standard. One of the reason was the absent of chemistry textbook which provide students to integrate their achieved knowledge with the development of science in the factual aspect of their daily experiences. The research aims to develop chemistry textbook based on science literacy in the colloid system subject. It has used development research method with ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data were analysed in descriptive method. The product of this research is the chemistry textbook which fullfill the qualification the indicators of science literacy. It was validated based on content properness, presentation, and language aspect. The result of this research shows that the chemistry textbook based on science literacy has got an excellent response with the percentage of student responses as much as 84.90%.
