Abstract

Permasalahn pokok yang dihadapi dalam pembuatan es krem adalah bagaimana memproduksi es tersebut secara efektif dan efisien, sehingga dapat  mengatasi pembuatan  es krem cara tradisional yang cenderung menyita waktu lama (2 -  2.5 jarn/tabung es). Untuk itu melalui Program Vucer ini bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan  tersebut dengan alat pembuat es krem secara mekanik dan semi otomatik.

Program vucer untuk industri kecil ini telah dapat   dilaksanakan   dengan baik, dan berhasil mewujudkan  sebuah alat pembuat  es krem  semiotomatik, yang kini digunakan di industri  Mitra. Alat pembuat es krem ini dapat  berfungsi dengan baik dengan unjuk kerja sebagai berikut : Alat ini mudah dioperasikan, kapasitas produksinya 3 buah tabung bos es krem I 55 -  60 menit, sehingga menghemat  waktu  dan  tenaga  sekitar  6.5 jarn/3  tabung,  es  krem  yang  dihasilkan  mempunyai kualitas standar pasar dan pesanan khusus.

Penggunaan alat ini mencapai 3 kali lebih produktif dibandingkan cara manual. Keuntungan

lain alat ini yaitu ergonomis, kompak, mudah dalam penggunaan dan mudah dalam perawatannya. Dengan  demikian  penerapan  alat  ini akan mampu  meningkatkan  potensi  industri  kecil  semakin maju berkembang.
