Peran kepuasan kerja sebagai mediator dalam pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja Guru SMK

Guru SMK dihadapkan pada tuntutan kerja yang kompleks yang dapat berdampak pada kepuasan dan kinerja mereka. Kecerdasan emosional dipandang sebagai faktor kunci dalam mengelola tekanan tersebut, sementara kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai kondisi psikologis yang memperkuat hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru SMK, serta peran mediasi dari kepuasan kerja dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, melibatkan 287 guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bantul sebagai responden. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup Rotterdam Emotional Intelligence Scale (REIS), Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ), dan Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji mediasi pada Jamovi 2.5.3. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai mediator. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja dalam mendukung peningkatan kinerja guru SMK.
