Self-compassion sebagai prediktor stigma diri dalam mencari bantuan

Mahasiswa merupakan kelompok individu yang berisiko mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental dan idealnya mencari bantuan ketika membutuhkan. Namun adanya stigma diri dapat menghambat individu untuk mencari bantuan profesional psikologis. Meskipun demikian, belum banyak penelitian yang menjelaskan faktor yang dapat memprediksi stigma diri dalam mencari bantuan. Self-compassion dinilai dapat mempengaruhi stigma diri dalam mencari bantuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran self-compassion dalam memprediksi stigma diri dalam mencari bantuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 350 partisipan yang diperoleh melalui metode convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi self-stigma of seeking help (SSOSH) versi Indonesia dan skala welas diri (SWD). Hasil analisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion secara signifikan memprediksi stigma diri dalam mencari bantuan pada mahasiswa. Self-compassion mampu menjelaskan stigma diri dalam mencari bantuan sebesar 12,5%.
