PERSEPSI INSTRUKTUR INDUSTRI TERHADAP PELATIHAN JARAK JAUH MENGGUNAKAN LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract


Instruktur industri mengambil peran penting dalam pengembangan kapasitas karyawan di industri. Beberapa perusahaan mencoba menerapkan pelatihan jarak jauh bagi karyawannya menggunakan LMS. Meskipun, hal ini tidak mudah dilakukan oleh para instruktur, dengan fitur LMS yang beragam. Sehingga, perlu dikaji secara mendalam bagaimana persepsi instruktur industri terhadap pelatihan jarak jauh menggunakan LMS sebagai masukan untuk memperbaiki pelaksanaan pelatihan jarak jauh di perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman instruktur industri dalam pelatihan jarak jauh menggunakan LMS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 16 orang instruktur perusahaan otomotif terkemuka di Indonesia. Kami menggunakan kuesioner terbuka untuk memperoleh data penelitian. Peneliti memperhatikan kriteria trustworthiness dan authenticity untuk mencapai kualitas hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LMS dapat digunakan untuk membantu dalam pelaksanaan training; monitoring perkembangan peserta training; memfasilitasi peserta untuk belajar mandiri; fleksibel; efektif; efisien; dan materi dapat dirancang secara sistematis. Selain itu, pengemasan materi yang mudah dipahami; kemudahan dalam menggunakan fitur pada LMS; informasi yang uptodate; tampilan yang interaktif; dan file materi yang mudah diunduh juga perlu diperhatikan untuk memaksimalkan performa LMS. Bagi instruktur, kendala yang dihadapi dalam menggunakan LMS pada saat taining adalah peserta training pasif; akses LMS tergantung dengan sinyal internet; dan sulitnya mengatur jadwal training.
