Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

  1. Inersia : Jurnal Teknik Sipil dan Arsitektur publishes research papers, review papers, and literature reviews on civil engineering and architecture. The manuscripts should be the original work either as a research or reference studies that have never been published in any form of publication.
  2. Manuscript accepted is written in standard Indonesian language or English and written referring to the TEMPLATE [DOWNLOAD]
  3. The manuscript must be in *.doc or *.rtf , and sent to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you have not had any account yet, or click LOG IN if you have already had an account].
  4. All Author(s)' names and identity(es) must be completely embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the column of 'Bio Statement'). [if the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click 'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process and then enter each author's data.]
  5. Authors' biography (in the column of Bio Statement) is written in the form of narration, including author's full name, place, and date of birth, educational qualification/information started from bachelor degree (S1) until the latest educational degree, the affiliation in which the author is currently working, phone number, and email address.
  6. The journal writing format, explained as follows:
  • The manuscript is written in one columns format, Times New Roman 10pt on A4 paper (quarto). The margin text from the top, left, right, and the bottom is 2.5 cm, 2 cm, 2 cm, and 2.5 respectively.
  • The title of the manuscript should accurately describe the content, font: Times New Roman – 17. The title of a research-based article must be simplified and different from the title of the research.
  • Authors (and co-authors) names are written below the title of the manuscript, without including their titles or degrees
  • Authors’ affiliations are written below the names
  • The suggested organization of the paper consists of Abstract-Introduction - Method - Results - Discussion - Conclusion. Each part should explicitly declare the contents.
  • Abstract consists of 250-300 words written in a single paragraph. It should be clear, informative, descriptive, and provide a clear statement of the problem, the proposed approach or solution, and point out major findings and conclusions
  • Keywords consist of words or phrases which are important, specific or representative of the article. Keywords are written in bold and italic, one space below the abstract.
  • Introduction should provide a clear background, a clear statement of the problem, the relevant literature on the subject, the proposed approach or solution, the new value of research and end with the purpose of the study.
  • Method includes research chronological, including research design, research prosedur, instruments, and analysis techniques used in solving problems.
  • Results and Discussion should be an objective description of the results and should be in relation to the purposes of research.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Word Perfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication: 500000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
