Lakon Pandhawa Pitu dalam perspektif formula lord

Abstract


This analysis is trying to analyze the story of "Pandhawa Pitu" by using theory of formula Lord. This formula contains some utterances, such as words and words group. Those are used to define the main idea, this analysis emphasizes on words and words group that is chosen by dalang. After it is analyzed using the formula, it proves that the conventions in the story of "Pandhawa Pitu" such as plot, the use of words which define the characters, words choice to start or end the scenes, and suluk are really de­scribing as formula.
