Abstract
This study aims to explore the application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in digital learning media to improve student accessibility, engagement and expression in learning. The research used a systematic literature review method by analyzing 17 articles from reputable journals. The focus of the analysis is how various digital media formats, such as text, audio, video, interactive graphics and augmented reality (AR), can be effectively integrated to support UDL-based learning. The results show that UDL-based digital learning media can accommodate students' diverse needs through flexibility of information presentation formats, active engagement strategies, and reduction of learning barriers. However, this implementation faces several obstacles, such as lack of educator training and limited technological infrastructure. This research offers a novel contribution by developing a framework that integrates previous findings in UDL implementation, particularly in digital learning media, to create a more adaptive and responsive learning experience. The findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between educators, technology developers and policy makers to ensure successful integration of UDL in digital learning media. Recommendations are also provided to improve professional training and infrastructure development to support more inclusive education.
