Abstract
ABSTRACT
Thermal comfort is one of the factors that affect the comfort level of the occupants of the room, because if it is not up to standard it can reduce work productivity. This study was conducted to find out how the thermal conditions of the lecture hall at the IKIP PGRI Wates Yogyakarta campus were. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data was obtained through field observations to obtain the value of air temperature, wind speed, humidity, and the value of hourly air change (ACH). The data from the measurement and calculation analysis were then compared with the standards of SNI 03-6572-2001 and EnREI 1991. This study found that: (1) the percentage of ventilation openings met the standard of SNI O3-6572-2001, (2) the thermal comfort index which includes air temperature, wind speed, humidity, and ACH do not meet the standards of thermal comfort according to SNI 03-6572-2001 and EnREI 1991, (3) there are differences in the values of air temperature, humidity, and wind speed between open and closed windows. To support maximum air flow, it is recommended that the window opening type be replaced with a casement side hung type. In addition, the outlet opening on the east side can be added with curtains to reduce solar radiation which can increase air temperature.

Kenyamanan termal adalah salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh pada tingkat kenyamanan penghuni ruangan, karena jika tidak sesuai standar dapat mengurangi produktivitas kerja. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi termal ruang kuliah Kampus IKIP PGRI Wates Yogyakarta. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan untuk mendapatkan nilai temperatur udara, kecepatan angin, kelembapan udara, serta nilai pergantian udara per jam (ACH). Data hasil pengukuran dan analisis perhitungan kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar SNI 03-6572-2001 dan EnREI 1991. Studi ini menemukan bahwa: (1) prosentase bukaan ventilasi ruang telah memenuhi standar SNI O3-6572-2001, (2) indeks kenyamanan termal yang meliputi temperatur udara, kecepatan angin, kelembapan udara, dan ACH belum memenuhi standar kenyamanan termal sesuai SNI 03-6572-2001 dan EnREI 1991, (3) terdapat perbedaan nilai temperatur udara, kelembapan udara, dan kecepatan angin antara jendela terbuka dan jendela tertutup. Untuk mendukung agar aliran udara lebih maksimal, disarankan tipe bukaan jendela diganti dengan tipe casement side hung. Selain itu, bukaan outlet pada sisi timur dapat ditambahkan tirai untuk mengurangi radiasi matahari yang dapat meningkatkan suhu udara.Keywords
